The Project Associate (Programme and Branding) plays a key role in the conceptualization, planning, and execution of event programs while ensuring the effective promotion and consistent branding of each event. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can seamlessly integrate program development with marketing and branding initiatives to deliver impactful and memorable experiences. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a passion for events and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Program Development and Management
Curate engaging event programs tailored to various event concepts, incorporating entertainment, workshops, and interactive activities
Research current trends to curate programs that appeal to the target demographic
Coordinate with performers, influencers, and emcees to create impactful and seamless event experiences
Develop detailed program schedules, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with event objectives
Branding and Creative Management
Lead the conceptualization and execution of event branding, ensuring alignment with the client's vision and objectives.
Work closely with clients to understand their branding guidelines and event goals.
Pitch fresh, creative event ideas, bringing their brand stories to life through thoughtful, engaging experiences
Collaborate with designers to create visually compelling marketing materials, event signage, and digital assets.
Ensure consistency in branding across all channels and event touchpoints, from pre-event promotions to on-site materials
Oversee the production and placement of creative elements, including banners, backdrops, merchandise, and interactive displays
Others
Take ownership of building event timelines, budgets, and deliverables, while aligning closely with management for overall direction and support
Ensure workflows, timelines, and quality standards are followed at every stage of planning and delivery
Attend site visits, manage set-up and tear-down of events
Perform admin duties
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
1 - 2 years of experience in events, project coordination or client servicing
Experience managing branding and creative aspects for large-scale lifestyle events like expos, festivals, or product launches
Strong communication skills, highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple timelines and priorities independently
Clear communicator and collaborative team player
Proactive and solution-oriented - taking initiative, not just instructions
Calm under pressure and comfortable problem-solving in real time
Comfortable using tools like Canva, with an openness to learn using new platforms/ software
Strong network of designers, creative agencies, and production vendors is a bonus
Strong negotiation skills with production vendors is a bonus
Knowledge of current lifestyle trends and consumer engagement strategies is a bonus
Basic budgeting or cost tracking experience is a bonus
