JOB PURPOSE This person will be part of the Clinician Scientist Development Office in NHG Group Research. He/She will be expected to work on a diverse array of projects, support various initiatives related to research and other offices in NHG Research. While a brief JD is given below, details are provided under section 4.

  • Provide administrative support, backend coordination and customer service for research training courses (physical and online courses, and eLearning portal)
  • Liaise with institutional representatives for content collation, and with design vendor for layout and publication of a bi-annual NHG Research Newsletter (e-Catalyst).
  • Support administrative activities for Clinician Scientist (CS) Development programmes and grants, e.g. publicity preparation and dissemination, application collation and expenditure;
  • Provide secretariat support, e.g. minutes taking, pre-meeting slides collation, etc for working committees;
  • Partake in intra- and inter-departmental assignments as required

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide administrative support, backend coordination and customer service for CSDO-led research training courses (physical and online courses, and eLearning portal)
  • To prepare and execute remaining 5 online/classroom workshops in FY23. This includes publicity, registration, planning of logistics and operations, post-course activities (evaluation and issuance of e-certificate), as well as pre- and post-course admin support to participants and speakers.
  • To prepare for the opening of FY24 courses for registration and related publicity materials
Support administrative activities for Clinician Scientist (CS) Development programmes and grants
  • Support bi-annual Call for Application in publicity and application review
  • Collation and reporting of research outcomes to various authorities
  • Verify claims received, follow-up for missing documentations and liaise with GR Finance and HQ FSS colleagues to process claims.
  • Process various amendments such as budget adjustments, time extension and funding
Support publicity of NHG research through various means and platforms
  • Liaise with design vendor for layout and timely publication of a bi-annual NHG Research Newsletter (e-Catalyst) in Apr 2024
  • Maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders and vendors
Provide administrative support for information collation for reporting purposes and scheduling of meetings as and when required
  • Collate and maintain H-index listing
  • Maintain publicity mailing list
  • Schedule committee meetings
Partake in intra- and inter-departmental projects as and when required
JOB REQUIREMENTS Education/Training/Experience
  • At least a good Diploma in Life sciences/Health Sciences or Business Administration with at least 2 years of experience in administrative support in biomedical/clinical research.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
  • Experience in Training facilitation / event management / grant management is an added advantage.
