About the role

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, processing their container bookings efficiently and ensuring seamless operations. This is a full-time permanent role based in the Singapore.

What you'll be doing

To handle customer inquiries and bookings related to ocean freight services and processing their booking requests in a timely manner. To coordinate with local and overseas stakeholders for successful execution of customer bookings. To monitor and manage booking data by identifying and addressing to any issues without cost impact to the company. To provide regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments and ensuring accurate records and reports are maintained as required. To monitor and follow-up on special cargo, including detention, payment and terminal transmissions etc. To liaise with the Marketing team for space control matters. To participate in project and continuous improvement initiatives for enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency. To perform any other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Preferably candidates who possess a Diploma in Shipping-related disciplines. Candidates with at least two years of relevant working experience in a similar role will have an added advantage. Proficient in Google suite applications, MS Office such as Excel and Word applications. Experience in analytics or Live Chat functions will be an added advantage. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, result-oriented and resilient.
