They include architects, designers, planners, engineers, facilities managers and other specialists driven by progressive thinking and creative ideas to shape a better future.Its technical experts deliver sustainable solutions that cover the entire project life cycle from planning and design, through to delivery and management, as well as a full suite of multidisciplinary consultancy services across a diverse range of sectors including transportation, water, aviation, healthcare, hospitality and renewables.A global engineering consulting firm with over 70 years of track record in successful project delivery, Surbana Jurong has built more than a million homes in Singapore, created master plans in more than 60 countries and developed over 100 industrial parks globally.The RoleWe are currently seeking an established Executive Director, Aviation and Aerospace to provide leadership and strategic direction to our Aviation and Aerospace business in collaboration with the wider SJ Group strategy.This role can be based at any of our major offices globally (South East Asia, Australia, Middle East, Africa, UK)As Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring there is consistency and cohesion across our Aviation and Aerospace business globally, with the effect of growing the Infrastructure + Energy business line through optimal people, commercial, business development, client relationship management and project performance.Your responsibilities extend to the ongoing development, direction, and delivery of the Strategic Action Plan for the Transport sector, Aviation and Aerospace being your focus. This includes organic growth, capability development, strategic partnerships and alliances. You will be at home managing profit and loss on a global scale, ensuring capability development and mobilisation of resources.As an ideal candidate, you will have:

• 20+ years in the industry with proven success in Senior Management roles with a focus on global strategy within the Aviation and Aerospace industry.
• Established industry profile and active involvement in industry associations.
• Ability to establish and maintain client relationships, providing expert business development advice.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline; postgraduate and project management qualifications highly regarded.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and market trends globally.
• High level communication skills, including negotiating and resolving highly complex commercial, technical and people matters.
