Overview:
As the Executive Director, Regional Marketing Lead, Vaccines & Pharma for Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for providing leadership in all aspects associated with the development and execution of marketing strategy in support of our vaccines, general medicines, and new product portfolios.
You will report directly to the regional president. You will be a member of the Asia Pacific Human Health Leadership Team, which will work closely with global, regional, and market-level marketing colleagues in addition to market access, medical affairs, policy, and external affairs to ensure marketing strategies are aligned and effective in achieving our aims to drive business growth and deliver improved patient outcomes.
What will you do :
Commercial Strategy: Lead a cross-functional regional team to identify therapeutic-focused business development, regulatory, infrastructure development, distribution, and market access and policy opportunities and strategies to enhance or accelerate commercial success.
Business Steward: Work with markets to understand how to optimize resource allocation within and across product portfolios and customer segments. Pressure test market-level assumptions to ensure forecasts are robust and deliverable.
Brand Strategy Development: For each promoted brand, and in collaboration with market-based teams, identify and prioritize regional and market-level opportunities, develop integrated marketing strategies based on customer and marketing insights, support the development and delivery of campaigns, and measure impact.
Insight Generation, Collection, and Sharing: Provide customer, commercial, and marketing input to the GCT and PDTs to shape and influence the global marketing strategy and other deliverables to ensure that GHH assets are available to meet AP market needs.
Commercial and Enterprise Strategy Realization: Contribute to or lead globally and regionally sponsored initiatives ensuring cross-functional alignment and delivery in line with intent, on time, and within budget.
Team Leadership & Talent Development: Maintain/build a team of high-potential talent and actively coach them to ensure aligned focus of activities and challenging on-the-job learning. Build & support talent development across the region and ensure succession planning for critical commercial & marketing functions (locally & regionally).
What should you have:
As the successful candidate, you should have strong commercial and financial acumen and demonstrate exceptional cross-functional and divisional leadership.
You have significant pharmaceutical marketing experience \xe2\x80\x93 preferably within Asia Pacific.
Have a strong desire to contribute toward the realization of our company goals.
You are accustomed to working with a diverse and rapidly changing workload, delivering projects across several teams, timelines, and within a matrix structure.
You are willing to speak up, be open-minded, and appropriately challenge the status quo.
You are a strong collaborator who can align and leverage the strengths within our global, regional, and local function centers of excellence, inclusive of Legal and Compliance, Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, Digital, Data & Analytics, and IT.
You have a strong understanding of financial management and the impact of commercial terms on the top and bottom-line and working capital considerations.
You have project management and process optimisation/simplification experience and a robust understanding of our compliance and business practice standards
You are an exemplar for developing people through on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
