Job Description
What the role is:
As an Executive Engineer / Engineer (Geology) in the Water Systems Department, Planning & Capability Development Division, you will be part of a team to lead the development of engineering models to plan and guide the design and construction of systems to enhance integrated water resource management and undertake related R&D projects.
What you will be working on:
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following areas: o Design and implement geological and geophysical investigations o Perform analysis and interpretation of geological and geophysical data, prepare reports and present recommendations to management. o Manage storage of rock cores and for research studies. o Maintain and upkeep geological datasets and model for data visualization and interpretation (Leapfrog or equivalent) o Conduct training and knowledge sharing sessions. o Any other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Geology, Civil / Environmental Engineering, or related fields o Possess strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills o Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualisation tools such as Leapfrog. o Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills o Able to work independently and a good team player o Self-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility
