What the role is
EXECUTIVE / ENGINEER, SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT (E-PAYMENT INNOVATION CENTRE
What you will be working on
Your responsibilities are design, development, testing, and integration of public transport Automated Fare Collection (AFC) System and Electronic Payment (ePayment) System. Besides, you will be working in an environment that provide testing services relating to fare media and readers used in AFC system. Job Scope & Responsibilities • Involves in the technical design, application development, and maintenance of AFC system applications. • Responsible for software delivery, integration testing, deployment, commissioning, create & maintain technical documentation, operational drawing, user guides etc. • Conduct testing of contactless medias and transit readers used in transit systems. • Competent in use and management of all internal and third-party test tools, create and maintain test plans. • Provide critical technical feedback on product specifications, features and payment structure and general industry standards to the engineers.
What we are looking for
Requirements • Tertiary qualification in Computer Engineering/Electronics Engineering or related discipline. • Proficient in C++, Java programming and other object-oriented or cloud-based programming languages. • Relevant experience in key management system and Hardware Security Module (HSM), cryptography will be an added advantage. • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud services. • Knowledge on network infrastructure will be an added advantage. • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies. • Experience in software testing and troubleshooting, e.g., cloud-based application and containerization. • Experience in QA/QC software testing including identifying required testing, performing analysis, and developing associated test plans. • Self-initiated, proactive, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Resourceful and self-motivated team player with a positive work attitude. • Ability and willingness to take on multiple roles to fulfil project needs.
