Read more about NIE here . The National Institute of Education (NIE) invites suitable candidates to join the Finance Department as an Executive. Roles & Responsibilities You will perform financial and general administrative functions. This will entail the following:

• Handle staff-related payments including entertainment claims, Staff Development Scheme allowances and salary for temporary recruits.
• Computation of liquidated damages for Staff Development and Overseas Graduate Scholar Schemes and preparation of claims to MOE for funding support.
• Process invoices and attend to related queries.
• Attend to accounting matters for donations and endowment funds.
• Assist with compilation of insurance data and payment of insurance premiums.
• Work with Reporting Officer to improve on existing finance processes.
• Provide secretarial support to Head of Finance.
• Assist in adhoc areas from time to time.

Requirements

• A Polytechnic Diploma preferably in Accountancy or its equivalent.
• 2 or 3 years of working experience in accounting.
• Organized and meticulous in handling numbers and data.
• A team player with good working attitude and is willing to learn and adapt.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel.
• Experience in SAP would be an added advantage.
• Able to adhere to timelines.
