Purpose of the role
Fund Operations
The role holder will ensure timeliness and accuracy in the daily Investment Linked fund pricing and trade placement. Candidate is also tasked to handle dividend distributions, trailer commissions with different fund managers as well as reconciliations of fund operations. Candidate ensures reconciling items or problems are properly explained, follow-up and closed within a reasonable timeline.
Bank Reconciliation
The role holder will prepare a monthly summary of all the investment bank reconciliations from the service providers.
Audit
Candidate will prepare month end investment schedules and liaise with external auditors on compliance audit and MAS 307 audit.
Documentation of Controls
Keeps abreast of updates to regulations and ensures proper documentation and implementation where applicable. Performs business continuity exercise on yearly basis.
Adhoc tasks
Attends regular meetings with other departments for new products launches or system implementation or issues. Participates in ad-hoc projects as and when assigned.
