The role:
Our client is in search of an experienced Executive Chef to head our culinary team in Singapore, overseeing the culinary direction of our client. As a highly seasoned Chef, you possess a deep enthusiasm for crafting thoughtfully curated menus and boast a diverse background across various cuisines, particularly Asian cuisine which is essential. Your dedication to upholding quality standards while also meeting financial KPIs is commendable. A dynamic leader, you excel at motivating your team and consistently setting a positive example.
Your comprehensive understanding of Asian Cuisine, coupled with a minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Chef in a restaurant akin to our client in terms of style, capacity, and volume, is essential. Your adeptness in financial management and business operations is matched by your commitment to adhering to top-notch food safety and hygiene practices, including proficiency in HACCP protocols.
Your interpersonal finesse shines through, and your ability to thrive amidst change is remarkable. A skilled communicator, you effortlessly engage with various teams and guests alike.

You are a highly experienced Chef with experience in multiple cuisines with Asian cuisine being a must
You are creative and passionate about curating well-balanced and creative menus
Strong leader and enjoys mentoring a large culinary brigade through leading by example
Ability to work with financial KPIs and have a good understanding of profit and loss
You can lead the culinary direction of our client whilst working closely with the senior management team
Qualifications
Must have at least 3 years experience as an Executive Chef in a similar dining experience
A foundation degree in culinary arts.
The ability to curate menus that are both creative and profitable.
Knowledge of HACCP and running a comprehensive food safety management system
Excellent leader with good communication skills.
Ability to adapt to change and spot and resolve problems efficiently.
