Job Description


For the specific Care Home, the incumbent will be responsible to implement the various HR strategies and initiatives under the over-arching HR framework such as talent acquisition, performance management, staff issues/grievance and exit management, under the guidance of the Vanguard Healthcare HQ HR Manager and Care Home\xe2\x80\x99s Centre Director. He/she will also work closely with the varoius department managers within the Care Home to acheive the overall Company\xe2\x80\x99s goal.

Work location: Bukit Panjang

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in job fairs, together with Vanguard Healthcare HQ (VHPL HQ) and other site HRs and manage the end-to-end recruitment (attraction, selection to appointment) and talent acquisition process (preparing salary proposals and offers to potential candidates and contracts generation) to maintain the staffing level of the Care Home at a reasonable level to meet business needs.
  • Co-ordinate and partner with MOHH-HMD on the on-boarding of the foreign staff and dormitory management (together with Nursing team).
  • Support Centre Director and department managers on HR matters including staff issues pertaining to confirmation, performance management, grievance or exit management.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations including maintaining the data integrity of employees\xe2\x80\x99 records on HRIS- NHelp/ ILTC/ etc, verifying and approving claims, / leave submitted by employees, processing payroll related items for payroll run, medical check-up, renewal of passes, etc.
  • Coordinate HR communications such as Welcome message, Orientation, Quarterly Employees Communication session, etc as well as broadcasts from VHPL HQ.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Degree in Business / Business Administration / Business Management or other fields.
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of HR generalist experience.
  • Prior HR Generalist experience particularly with Nursing Home/ Government set-up preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills particularly in dealing with employees matters.
  • Meticulous and possess an eye for details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in in job fairs and various WDAs\xe2\x80\x99 schemes, and managing foreign workers is an added advantage.
