You are responsible for the inventory management and logistics support operations of all units under the charge of the Air Base Sustainment Squadron (ABSS) and to adhere to MINDEF Logistics directives and regulations. You also supervise and work hand in hand with the MINDEF Approved Contractors in the inventory management of the ground logistics stores. You supervise the work and welfare of the full time national servicemen, as well as manage the training of NSmen. You support the Base Finance team and reports to the Officer Commanding of the Ground Supply Flight ABSS and will be assigned additional duties as necessary to ensure mission success in sustaining the logistics operations of the Base. Your challenge lies in being proficient in the Enterprise System and Next Generation Procurement System. You will also need to be well-versed in Logistics and Finance policies and directives and ensuring the day to day transactions are conducted in an accurate and timely manner to prevent rolling over of jobs. You also play a critical role in providing the service support for logistics readiness status, the level and effectiveness of logistics support provided to the Internal & External Bases. You must have a Diploma, preferably in Logistics, Finance or a related field. You should be able to multi-task and be meticulous and resourceful, possess strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills. You must be able to work independently and handle multiple work demands and various stakeholders at the same time. (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
