Job Description
What the role is:
Candidate will be responsible for managing halal applications, conducting audits, implementing new / revised certification conditions, and managing and responding to halal certification-related matters.
What you will be working on:
- Processing halal applications within organization\'s service standards
- Conducting desktop and site audits to ensure compliance with Muis Halal Standards and Halal Certification Conditions
- Managing and responding to queries on halal certification-related matters
- Implementing revised / new certification conditions
- Developing, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures to strengthen Muis Halal certification functions.
- Candidate must possess a tertiary education in a related discipline e.g. Food Science and Technology / IT / Engineering
- Candidate must have at least 3 years of related work experience; those with enforcement / Compliance / Governance background will have an advantage
- Candidate shall be conversant with Excel/Power BI/Tableau or other data management and analysis tools
Successful candidate will be appointed on contract basis.
