Purpose of Role

The Executive, Merchandising will be responsible in merchandising operations such as new season preparation, sample management, sell-in meetings and supports in demand planning activities.

Your Impact

  • Consolidation of forecasting plans to customer bookings
  • Actively participates in S&OP and demand reviews.
  • Partner with Merchandising team on product assortment, seasonal product strategies, key stories, segmentation, etc.
  • Understand market/channel-specific needs and nuances.
  • Analyze, report and monitor weekly, monthly and season to date sales trends.
  • Provide data driven insights to drive in-season product sales and future pre-season bookings.
  • Assist Merchandising team in seasonal range/sales data analysis for new season preparation.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance to develop buying targets by channel/division/category, ensure alignment between buying plans and financial targets.
  • Creation & maintenance of master data information, orderbook updates
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain team on delivery flow and inbound shipment tracking
  • Support Merchandising team on inventory holding management function.
  • Assist in seasonal sell-in meetings/seasonal sample management and adhoc matters.
Qualifications
  • Diploma and/or equivalent education in any field; majors in retail/merchandising is a plus.
  • Preferable experience in sports or clothing industry
  • Excellent computer literacy skills in Excel
  • Able to handle large data sets with strong analytical and logical thinking skills
  • Have experience with a variety of go-to-market models (direct to consumer, wholesale, retail, etc.)
  • Highly proactive and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong skills in working cross-functionally.
  • Working productively in a matrixed environment
  • Communicate effectively and influence partners.
