Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage training resources and equipment in Nursing Education & Development Unit (NED)
- Oversee course administration, including elearn management
- Design, develop and analyse learning records of educational programs
- Set up and maintain a database which consolidates training record (including learning needs and training attendance) from various sources
- Provide data and analysis report to nursing supervisors routinely and upon ad hoc request
- Plan and manage annual budget for Nursing Education & Development Unit with the stakeholders
- Collaborate with nurse educators to draft and review policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations of NED
- Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of continuing education programs for all levels of nursing personnel and support care staff
- Oversee the coordination, facilitation and registration of internal/ external course applications
- Assume additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned by Senior Nurse Educator, Nurse Educator, Nursing Administrators and Chief Nurse
- Co-ordinate and participate departmental activities
- Precept and mentor junior staff. Induct and train new staff
- University Degree in any discipline
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications and have knowledge in statistics
