Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Executive Officer, Business Operations to join our Business Operations team to support operations and settlement in areas relating to Sweep, Betting Consumables and Prize Cheque Payments. This incumbent will deliver quality services and solutions to evolving business requirements, improving the control of the process ad ensure smooth daily operations within the corporate operating guidelines and procedures, risk framework and approved operating budget. What You'll Do:

  • You will support the supervisor in the management and supervision of the sweep and indent for betting consumables, for timely and accurate processing and deliverables, including escalation and investigation into issues highlighted by team
  • You will perform daily reconciliation to ensure timely settlement from sweep retailers and consignees and escalate promptly to stakeholders (such as Retail Ops, Risk, Finance) on late and/or non-settlement by sweep retailers/consignees and any other discrepancies in orders/returns.
  • You will work with the team to ensure timely and accurately processing of sweep orders, by printing and packing the sweep tickets based on the orders received. To arrange with courier for onward collection and delivery to the sales outlets.
  • You will work with the team to ensure timely and accurately processing of returned sweep tickets from sales outlets. To reconcile the returns from courier to ensure all collections are completed and perform reconciliation to ensure that the processed returned sweep tickets tallied with the return form.
  • You will liaise with stakeholders (such as Retail Ops, Courier, Suppliers) on logistic arrangements for the delivery and collection of items to/from sales outlets. Together with team, raise PRs timely and accurately based on the betting consumable requests received and perform GR accordingly upon receipt of goods and/or invoices within stipulated timelines.
  • You will assist in the management and supervision of Prize Cheque Payment operations and meeting of KPIs set
  • You will be accountable for the daily processing of Prize Cheque Payment, including working with team on the loading, issuance, replacement and cancellation of cheques
  • You will ensure smooth operations of the prize cheque payment in ensuring that prize claims are processing accurately and timely, including staff discipline and counselling
  • You will deliver a good customer service experience through arranging of training for frontline staff
  • You will be responsible in planning of duty roster for prize cheque authorized signers and digitised signers
  • You will perform checks on the daily cheques issued against daily end of day reports
  • You will be responsible for handling and timely reporting of Tampered Ticket with the highest level of integrity
  • You will execute UAT, test scenarios and raise feedback (if any) before the confirmation go-ahead for production system go-live
  • You will be responsible to perform the verification of damaged ticket claims for accurate prize payment, and aid in the supervision to ensure the requests are processed timely.
  • You will train (cross function) and guide staff; plan and assign work; appraise staff performance; reward and discipline staff; address complaints and resolve issues
  • You will periodically review and/or update of changes to all operating procedure (where applicable)
  • You will plan and implement (or participate in) new initiatives

Who You Are
  • You should have Degree preferably in Business Administration, Banking or Accounting
  • You should have minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably in settlement or operations
  • You should have good interpersonal skills and ability to motivate and supervise staff
  • You should have good analytical skills – data mining to innovate and offer improvement that meet operations needs
  • You should be meticulous and enjoy working with figures
  • You should be proficient in MS Office
