Job Description

Job Purpose

To assist Bus Operations by overseeing operations performance and coordinate bus operations related matters. To provide support in performance analysis and planning support with an aim to achieve competitive incentives and minimize mileage audit recovery fee.

Responsibilities

• Operations Support

• Oversee Bus Captain (BC) manpower allocation and projection numbers, including BC resources for daily bus operations and worker's transport arrangement.
• Manage Bus Captain Related Work Instructions (WIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as well as attending bus stop meetings on safety and relocations matters.
• Planning support of Bus Captain recruitment
• Missing Trips Verification (MTV)

• Manage and perform MTV audit & queries pertaining to mileage claims and ensuring internal MTV audit compliance.
• Prepares report for daily and monthly mileage and appeal.
• Oversees MTV application, Telematics, authority's data warehouse system related issues
• Service Development

• Preparation of bus service variation and distance fare quarterly update
• Liaison with the authority and vendor pertaining to bus operations related issue, including application of bus service license
• Manage design and printing of posters includes supporting documents for all new and existing bus services variation
• Coordination related matters

• Preparation and consolidation of weekly bus operations presentation to management
• Coordination of all ad-hoc bus operations matter to staff and vendor
• Performance Reporting

• Preparation and submission of reports on daily and monthly basis, as required by respective Authorities, including Variation Order documentation.
• Any ad-hoc tasks by Supervisor

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Degree holders, fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis would have an added advantage
• Good written and spoken communication skills, with numeracy skills
• Meticulous, ability to multi-task and work within tight timeline
• Possess positive disposition, independent, resourceful and a team player
• Passion and interest for data and numbers
