Job Description


Job Purpose

  • Coordinate support for all the lines within the Rail Ops Group on updating the various Controlled Documents such as SMRT Rule Books, Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Quality Procedures, etc.
  • Prepare new Operating Documents for upcoming new/ extension of Lines.
  • Maintain alignment and quality in Operating Documents across the Lines/ Departments.
  • Assist in special projects such as Singapore Rail Standards.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for initiating and facilitating reviews, crafting, amending and issuing of Controlled Documents such as:
  • Rail Ops Group HSEMS Manual;
  • Quality Procedures;
  • Operating Procedures;
  • Work Instructions;
  • Business continuity plans such as Standard Operating Procedure of Rail Incident Management Plan, Rail Operations Pandemic Business Continuity Plan and Rail Operations Haze Action Plan.
  • Monitor the review due dates of the Controlled Documents and work with relevant stakeholders to review and update the documents.
  • Review of Operations and Traffic Circulars and incorporate the relevant Circulars into the appropriate Controlled Documents.
  • Work with respective Operations departments to review and incorporate its local instructions into the appropriate Controlled Documents.
  • Maintain and update contents of operating procedures in digital platforms such as Knowledge Library.
  • Assist the Manager to organise Procedures Review Meeting for Rail Operations Group.
  • Involved in Special Projects such as Rule Book development, Singapore Rail Standards, etc.
  • Coordinate with Operations teams for the development of e-learning packages based on key changes to rules and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as and when required by Manager or above.
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Degree/ Diploma in Engineering discipline
  • Prior relevant experience in process control/ quality assurance or a similar nature.

  • Procedures writing related knowledge
  • Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Adobe Acrobat.
