The Team




Our Restructuring and Insolvency practice offers crucial assistance to companies that are under-performing or experiencing a full-blown liquidity crisis. Working directly with company management, A&M helps stabilize financial and operational performance by developing and implementing comprehensive profitability and working capital improvements. Our involvement reassures creditors that the company is taking important steps to address its problems and maximize its value.


In addition, our Restructuring and Insolvency team is regularly appointed to administer the judicial management and winding up of companies.


As A&M rapidly expands in Southeast Asia, we're seeking to hire a Senior / Executive Director for our

Restructuring Practice

. Based in Singapore, you will help expand the business through marketing and selling work, managing relationships, and leading projects. For business development, you'll build and leverage a network of potential client decision-makers, develop marketing strategies and content, and communicate with the A&M network and prospective clients. You will apply your analytical skills and deep understanding of accounting and finance to a diverse range of complex assignments focused on all aspects of financial restructuring, both in and out of bankruptcy or distressed situations.

How you will contribute



Business Development and Leadership



Build a robust yet flexible plan to generate deal flow and develop a sustainable business, both externally and internally. Grow our practice by strengthening our offerings, broadening our routes to market, developing and leveraging senior relationships, and working with our global partnership group. Lead teams to effectively gather, analyze, and sort through large datasets, which can sometimes be disorganized and incomplete.

Client Project Execution



Review 13-week cash flow models and other financial models. Conduct initial diagnostic assessments of key issues and the business outlook. This includes appraising options, contingency planning, and cash flow assessments. Evaluate business plans and financial projections, with a focus on assessing risks and opportunities. Contribute to performance monitoring after a business plan is implemented. Assist in court processes in Singapore and other applicable countries.

Team Management



Train and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications



The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and qualifies for the Insolvency Practitioner License. Possess 15+ years of experience in restructuring in Singapore/South-East Asia Proven relationships with financial institutions, funds and/or corporates that lead to work generation Manage all aspects of restructuring Financial skills: Strong financial modeling and accounting knowledge. Quantitative analytical skills: A good understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications, as well as credit analysis. Other skills: Proficient with Bloomberg Terminal and Capital IQ. Languages: Excellent verbal and written English is required; other Asian languages are a plus. Proven track record in business development. Proven track record of strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality. Ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels of staff.
