Job Description

Job PurposeWork closely with Associate Dean (Student Affairs), Head of Admissions & Outreach Unit, as well as Admissions & Outreach team members to handle operational matters relating to Admissions and Outreach.As Executive / Senior Executive (Admissions & Outreach), the ideal candidate will develop data repositories and maintain a portal which enables key stakeholders to securely process admission data. The ideal candidate will also support the admissions processes of graduate and undergraduate Law students, as well as various outreach initiatives to market NUS Law programmes locally and internationally, ensuring cohesive and effective communication across all platforms to meet the strategic objectives of student recruitment.Admissions Management:

• Maintain database of applicants\' information in Admissions systems and portals.
• Develop data repositories and regularly maintain an Admissions portal which enables key stakeholders to securely process admission data (e.g. applicant details and assessment results). Develop visualizations and presentations for dissemination of analytical results and derivation of actionable insight.
• Support admissions exercises of PhD, LLM and other graduate programmes. Track applications and submission of documents by applicants. Liaise with interviewers and applicants for admission interviews and written tests.
• Support the undergraduate LLB admissions exercise (administration of interviews and written test, collation of interview and test results).
• Support the administration of various postgraduate scholarships, including tracking of the amount awarded.
• Handle admissions, scholarships and programme related enquiries from prospective LLM students. Ensure that responses to LLM and LLB admissions related queries are factual and relevant.
• Generate and analyse applications, admissions and scholarships data for development and implementation of data-driven outreach and admissions strategies. Manage, coordinate with various stakeholders on requests for Admissions-related information and collate the information for submission.

Outreach Initiatives, Event Planning and Execution:

• Support the execution of outreach events and activities, both online and in-person (local and overseas).
• Coordinate logistics for outreach activities and liaise with NUS central departments and internal units for events such as school visits and education fairs.
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as and when necessary.

Qualifications

• Possess a good bachelor\'s degree, preferably in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science or another quantitative field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong SQL query scripting skills and knowledgeable in database technologies.
• Proficiency in data modelling, data wrangling and data preparation.
• Proficiency in using one of the programming languages (e.g. C++, C#/.NET, Java, Python).
• Meticulous and self-driven, with a strong passion to achieve.
• Student centric, positive attitude, professional and a pleasant disposition.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, able to work with stakeholders of various levels.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team to achieve goals.
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical skill to perform data profiling and data visualization.
