Job Purpose

The Executive / Senior Executive, Audit and Plans, is responsible for IMS related processes such as audits & inspections, performance monitoring, route protection patrolling, etc. for STEL and oversee the necessary submission of SSQ related information / reports to SMRT Trains, STEL and LTA. This position will be working closely with all Operations and Maintenance branch in STEL and reports to Section Manager, Audit and Plans.

Responsibilities

Executive / Senior Executive, Audit and Plans duties and responsibilities are as listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

• Ensure that STEL meet her legal obligations on safety requirements on HSEQ.
• Responsible for the scheduling and facilitation of cross functional audits and conducting periodic inspections (WSHC Inspection, Annual Workplace Inspection (AWI) for stations, Route Protection Patrol (RPP), etc.).
• Trend, monitor and provide regular update to STEL management on outcome and follow-up of all IMS related audit and inspection (WSHC Inspection, Annual Workplace Inspection (AWI) for stations, Route Protection Patrol (RPP), etc.).
• Preparation and submission of periodic reports to SMRT Trains, STEL, LTA, etc.
• Facilitate STEL IMS audit and provide WSH related support on other audits for STEL.
• Work with STEL internal auditors on annual internal audit of STEL IMS.
• Analyse and report on SSQ performances.
• Update and maintain Audit & Plans related documentation (IMS Policy Chapters, Procedures, EHS Legal Register, etc.)
• Facilitate STEL WSH Committee meeting.
• Participate and support in any ad-hoc activities assigned.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• A diploma / degree in Engineering, OHS and/ or Quality related studies.
• Qualified internal auditor certification for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 preferred.
• Experience in setting up and managing ISO (45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001) Management Systems preferred.

Skills

Technical skills include:

• Working knowledge in Workplace Safety and Health Act, Fire Safety Act, Environmental Protection and Management Act and their respective subsidiary legislations.
• Working knowledge in Quality Methodologies.
• Hands on knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools, including Power BI, MS Forms, etc.

Generic skills include:

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with different levels of people
• Critical thinker and problem solver
