About our client: Our client is a leading regional player in conventional and renewable energy industry.About the role: Provide analytical and programming support to the Energy Commercial business. Monitor and analyze the dynamics of singapore's power and gas market. Consolidate, analyze and prepare visualization of data to support decision making and management reporting. Develop strategies and tools to optimize asset deployment and bidding into the Singapore Wholesale Electricity Market. Work with digital department, researchers and power market specialists to develop Virtual Power Plant (VPP) to manage and optimise distributed energy resources, which includes Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and Solar. Evaluate asset performance data to identify opportunities for optimizing production costs. These assets include energy-from-waste steam generators, combined cycled power plants and steam boilers.*More experienced candidates may be considered for an Assistant Manager role.About you: Degree in engineering / business / finance / economics/ computing. Preferably with experience in power and utilities markets, however training will be provided. Experience working with digital teams to deploy new systems/ digital platforms /tools will be considered favourably. Pre-requiste programming skills (Python, Excel VBA, PowerBI etc).
