Executive (Volunteer Management and Health Activation)
The Challenges
Supporting the division in building a community of carers (Patients, caregivers, volunteers and partners)
Supporting the development of new volunteer programmes and management of existing volunteer groups / programmes / network of volunteers (Driving training, recruitment, retention, appreciation and engagement strategies and platforms)
Supporting the development and maintenance of volunteer management and activation framework and environment for volunteers (Taking charge of their own health and to care for others in the community)
Building and sustaining hospital volunteer programmes and community partnerships to drive activation efforts (In the organisation and community)
Driving volunteer management projects (E.g., Developing an IT system to manage volunteers and to organise annual Volunteer Appreciation and Awards event)
Supporting the organising committee and lead in the annual Singapore Patient Conference and Singapore Patient Action Awards. Planning and executing events, publicising, marketing, liaising and coordinating.
Collaborating closely with other units to enhance care experience of patients, caregivers and volunteers
Managing resources and implementing programmes, projects and events within the budget, fundings and timelines
What it Takes:
Degree in business, communications, social sciences, psychology, or a related field
2-4 years of community engagement, volunteer management or communications experience (Experience in healthcare and/or social service industry, will be an advantage)
Excellent people skills with an enthusiastic attitude
Enjoy working with diverse groups of people
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Resourcefulness in problem solving and resilient in overcoming challenges
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
Strong organisational and event management skills, with an eye for details
Good knowledge of social media platforms
