The Youth Executive is responsible for the planning, development, operations and delivery of high quality MYMCA youth programmes and services in accordance with the philosophy and goals of Metropolitan YMCA
Responsibilities
Organises training courses and coordinate pre and post training activities
Collaborates with stakeholders to develop and implement effective training and development programs
Interviews potential local and overseas candidates for internships
Makes presentations to general public to raise awareness and garner support in youth programmes
Works actively and collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders (e.g. volunteers, schools, corporate bodies, government agencies, other voluntary organisations)
Visits, networks and establishes relevant contacts with school principals and teachers, government agencies and other voluntary welfare organizations, etc. to expand the youth outreach work of the Association.
Ensures that all administration work like maintaining accurate records, information and database related to our beneficiaries, volunteers, and partners are captured, correct and updated and easily accessible and kept as intellectual properties of the Association
Collects, updates and analyses information and data for reporting and evaluation purposes
Requirements:
Degree holder in any discipline, preferably related to Social Sciences
Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience in the delivery of youth development programmes
Possess a strong passion in mentoring / youth work / training programme development and impact evaluation
Proactive and takes initiative, eager to learn
Good organizational and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good team player, able to manage multiple tasks independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Previous volunteering experiences related to youth engagement will be an advantage
