What the role is:

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development of a future ready built environment for Singapore. Besides regulating building safety, we lead and transform the built environment sector in delivering a safe, high quality, sustainable and friendly built environment.

We are looking for resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individuals who are inspired to play an active role to make a difference to Singapore\'s built environment.

Responsibilities

You will play a major role in administering building regulations and developing new strategies that will shape a future-ready Built Environment Sector. You will be responsible for:

Performing site inspections and the granting of temporary occupation permits and certificates of statutory completion; and

Reviewing and developing strategies, policies and processes in relation to Building Control.

You will carry out Structural site audits, CD Commissioning inspections and TOP/Conquas assessments. You will also be involved in project works to enhance technology adoption for construction and inspection works.

Requirements:

Degree in Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in consultancy and design

Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work in a team and possess eagerness to learn

Motivated and fast learner

Candidates who possess professional certification, or strong technical and/or data analytics skills will be an advantage
