Executive/ Senior Engineer (Structural Assessment & Technology Department, Building Resilience Group)

Responsibilities
You will be part of the team that regulates safety of existing building structures and slopes. In the course of your work, you will review engineering submissions by professional engineers and liaise with builders and building owners in ensuring the safety of building structures. As part of a dynamic organisation, you will have the opportunity to work on other aspects of building control which includes policy review on ensuring the continued safety of existing buildings, carry out ageing and climate impact studies leveraging on technology and data.

Requirements

  • A degree in civil/structural engineering.
  • A practising professional engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board. Candidates who are not registered PEs but are preparing for registration with the PE Board would also be considered.
  • At least 5 years of relevant design and site experience.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
