Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ensuring TMFSG adheres to and operates within all regulatory requirement as issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (\xe2\x80\x9cMAS\xe2\x80\x9d), Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (\xe2\x80\x9cACRA\xe2\x80\x9d), TMF Group compliance and local compliance policies and procedures, whichever standard and requirement are higher.
  • Perform/Review name screening, searches and verifying possible matches on Risk Screen and on Google internet for every new client enquiry, on-boarding, periodic review and exit of business relationship.
  • Perform/Review Risk Assessment on each new and existing client mandate, for new client on-boarding and at every mandate review.
  • Review Know Your Clients (\xe2\x80\x9cKYC\xe2\x80\x9d) documentation and assess its completeness, appropriateness, and reasonableness, including Source of Wealth (\xe2\x80\x9cSOW\xe2\x80\x9d) corroboration where applicable, verifying client due diligence measures have been performed and that MAS, ACRA, and TMF Group standards and requirement are complied with.
  • Act as gateway for local new business, review, assess and advise new business applications and if required, seek clarification from staff of respective service lines.
  • Assist in handling, reviewing, addressing, and resolving open issues (missing documentation, review dates, risk ratings etc.) on ORCA, TMF Group GCC Compliance database.
  • Assist in the development, reviewing, updating, and implementation and conducting of anti-money laundering and specific compliance training programs
  • Undertake ad-hoc compliance projects as required from time to time.
  • Preparing Suspicious Transaction Reports (\xe2\x80\x9cSTRs\xe2\x80\x9d) for unusual/suspicious transactions via STROLLS to the Suspicious Transaction Reporting Office (\xe2\x80\x9cSTRO\xe2\x80\x9d), Commercial Affairs Department (\xe2\x80\x9cCAD\xe2\x80\x9d) of the Singapore Police Force and keeping all the records including the cases reported internally.
Key Requirements:
  • Graduate from Poly/University in Business or related disciplines / Experienced career switchers or emerging professional / Up to 5 years of relevant experience in international companies or professional firms.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in Trusts would be ideal but not essential. An understanding or exposure to Trust structures, REITs, special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and or other complex corporate structures KYC assessments would be highly desirable.
  • Candidates having 2 years of on-boarding and transaction monitoring experience in corporate banking / institutional banking / funds compliance environment can also be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office application (Excel/PowerPoint)
