In our Shared Services department, we empower non-profits and social enterprises by providing affordable and professional services that are critical for their daily operations, such as bookkeeping, donation tracking, accounting to payroll and human resources support. By bridging this gap, we believe our social organisations are enabled to fulfil their social missions and scale their social impact.

We are currently looking for an Executive / Senior Executive, who will be responsible for assigned client portfolio, working together with our Client Services Managers / Senior Executives / Executives, and guiding our interns and volunteers to provide accounting, HR, consultancy including digitalisation and financial process improvement services to our non-profit and social enterprise clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

Your job role will cover:
  • Managing and maintaining a good client relationship with our Shared Services clients and ensuring on time delivery of services
  • Performing accounting, financial reporting, payroll, GST, tax and other shared services functions for our clients
  • Supporting supervisors in liaising with the clients and tasks assigned
  • Attending to clients\' accounting / audit queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Guiding team members, volunteers, and interns for delivery of services and problem-solving
  • Coordinating and scheduling on-going volunteer or intern sessions
  • Reviewing deliverables by the volunteers and interns
  • Project manage financial/digitalisation consulting engagements in the area of finance, digitalisation onboarding/ transformation, process re-engineering, cashflow forecast, financial/payroll related operating model & service delivery.
  • Assisting in ad-hoc business development for new and existing clients
Qualifications:
  • At least a Diploma in Accountancy or related discipline
  • With a minimum of 2-4 years working experience in the areas of accounting and financial reporting
  • Experience in audit or management consultancy in a professional public accounting firm will be advantageous
  • Experienced in managing external clients and teams
  • Experienced in preparing full set of accounts
  • Experienced in project management; adaptable to change and able to communicate and build rapport with diverse stakeholders (clients, interns, volunteers)
  • Proficient and patient in communicating financial principles to stakeholders with no accounting background
  • Familiarity with charity accounting standards is a plus; familiar with cloud-based accounting and HR software; interested in constantly learning new skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with a positive disposition. Ability to work effectively with people from different cultures, backgrounds and perspectives
  • Good subject matter knowledge across a range of financial, payroll and digitalisation-related capabilities including business or enterprise organizational and operational change
  • Good client management skills, authoritative and credible in a client conversation - both in terms of personal style and subject matter expertise
  • Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Have a can-do spirit and would take initiative to make things happen
  • Take responsibilities and ownership for tasks assigned
  • Ability to multitask, adaptable to change and handle stress
  • Exhibit good ability to work as team
  • Generally tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft applications
