Support the Origination, structuring and execution ECA/DFI/Agency covered transactions related to core or target clients of LBBW and Export Credit Agencies in coordination with relationship managers in LBBW and the global Export Finance team in the bank
Participate in negotiation of pricing, collateral and other terms and conditions with customers in cooperation with LBBW Head Office relationship and risk managers
Prepare, coordinate and present credit applications to the relevant risk management and approval authorities in strict compliance with LBBW's credit risk strategy including but not limited to ESG related topics as well as Compliance/KYC/Anti Money Laundering
Participating in client pitches, marketing activities and industry events
Manage transactions end to end in close collaboration of all relevant units including any transactions out of the existing export finance portfolio
Pro-Active involvement in the deal process between Export Finance Specialists, Rep. Offices, Trade Finance Specialists, Relationship Managers in Germany as well as with Risk Management and Execution/Documentation units
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, partner banks and competitors, exporters from Europe and Export Credit Agencies, particularly their representatives located in the Asia/Pacific Region, and other key players in the export finance market
Contribute and achieve the financial, operational and other targets agreed with management for the business unit of Export Finance Asia/Pacific
Take on ad-hoc projects related to the further development of the strategy for Export Finance Asia/Pacific
Regular/ad-hoc reporting of business activities, pipelines to management etc.
Required Skills
University degree or similar qualification
Expert knowledge and relevant experience of 3-5 years in Structured Finance, Project and/or Export Finance.
Knowledge of Credit Evaluation/Risk Management/Execution procedures is advantageous
Strong willingness to travel within Asia/Pacific
Strong customer orientation and communication skills as well as excellent sales attitude
Written and verbal English as well as Mandarin proficiency for negotiations, knowledge of further regional languages would be advantageous
Excellent knowledge in MS Office products
Customer and team oriented personality as well as inter-cultural competency
