Summary



Support Head of EFS APAC for origination and execution of EFS mandates as well as other EFS scope in the APAC region. Contribute to develop Export and Finance activities in APAC, both import ("inbound") and export ("outbound") transactions, notably in Korea. This includes internal and external marketing, originating, structuring and managing Export Finance commercial activities for CACIB in APAC as well as maintaining strong relationships with ECAs including with Korean ECAs. Act as Deal Leader / Transaction Manager of an Export Finance transactions, notably in Korea. Support Head of EFS Korea for origination and execution of EFS mandates as well as other EFS scope.

Key Responsibilities



Contribute to originate Export Finance (EF) business for CACIB in Korea both inbound and outbound with a special emphasis on large transactions; Provide expertise and technical support within global CACIB Export Finance department related to Korean inbound and outbound transactions; Support Head of EFS APAC to originate and execute Export Finance (EF) business in APAC both inbound and outbound; Contribute to the structuring and pricing of EF inbound and outbound facilities, in coordination with Export Finance teams in Paris and other relevant regions; Contribute to the management of the APAC EF loan portfolio (new transactions, secondary sales, secured funding structures); Follow up on the existing portfolio; assist Export Finance teams in Singapore, Paris and other relevant regions in drafting credit applications and reviews; Maintain a first class relationship with clients, ECAs (notably but not solely in Korea with K-Sure/KEXIM) as well as banks active in Export Finance; [Vested with a specific Export Finance Budget and responsibilities in this respect (revenue targets, follow-up, etc.)]; Coordination with other CACIB departments for issues related to Export Finance activities, with special emphasis on good coordination with Credit Coordinators, Coverage, RPC, CPL-FS; Support Shipping team for the execution of the K-Sure covered ship financing transactions under the Fee Sharing Agreement with a specific focus on K-Sure approval process. Also supporting Shipping for management of existing portfolio as far as K-Sure matters are concerned; Contribute to detect business opportunities for ITB, CLF and ERA, and Perform other assignments requested by the Bank.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities



Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Korea Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer. Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Role Requirements



Degree holder in Business, Banking & Finance or any relevant degree qualifications. Minimum 7 years of experience in Export Finance. Experience in leading and executive Export Finance Korea transactions. Good understanding of legal terms and documentation procedures and familiarity in banking's operational, credit and client on-boarding processes. * Good interpersonal skills and has a track record in successful commercial experience.
