JR31163 F10 QEM PCS SPC Engineer summary: As a Statistical Process Control engineer, you will be managing SPC programs through collaborating with PEE team to drive improvement of fab inline SPC health metrics such as Cpk, OOC, Off-target, etc; you will be setting up SPC strategies and optimizing business process along the way to govern compliance and aligning SPC community on the forward SPC direction; you will work on projects using R or Python programming for advanced analytics and reports to serve the need of fab to gain insights from data, which would be visualized through Tableau or Webapp; you will use your statistical and control knowledge to train and coach new hires. Knowledge on NLP and Machine Learning would be advantageous to contribute in develop ment of AI solutions. Responsibilities:

• R or Python or Webapp projects for advanced analytics and reports to serve the need of fab to gain insights
• Knowledge on NLP and Machine Learning would be advantageous to contribute in develop ment of AI solutions
• Manage statistical process control programs and drive improvements in key process control metrics
• Use project management methodologies to manage improvement projects involving cross functional teams
• Ensure SPC business process compliance for customer/internal audits
• Develop, implement and improve statistical models for better process control and faster drift detection.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
• Ability in multi-tasking complex projects and enjoy working in a fast pace environment
• Recommend statistical methods to replace conventional way of analyzing different kinds of data
• Coach and train Engineers on statistical and SPC concepts
• Collaborate with other Micron sites to share and obtain improvement actions related to process variability
  

Requirements:

• PhD/Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computing/Statistics/Mathematics
• Strong knowledge of statistical concepts is desirable.
• Experience in R, Python or Angular is desired.
• Knowledge of big data system will be advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
