As a Kids Play Facilitator, you will create a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children to learn, play, and develop their social and cognitive skills. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with children and a talent for creating entertaining and educational activities.Key Responsibilities:1. **Activity Planning and Facilitation**:- Design and organize a variety of age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that promote creativity, learning, and physical activity.- Lead and supervise children during play sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.- Encourage positive social interactions and teamwork among children.- Adapt activities to suit different age groups and individual needs.2. **Safety and Supervision**:- Maintain a safe and clean play environment, following health and safety regulations.- Monitor children\'s behavior to ensure safe play and manage conflicts or behavioral issues effectively.- Perform regular safety checks on play equipment and report any maintenance needs.3. **Engagement and Communication**:- Engage with children in a friendly, supportive, and encouraging manner.- Communicate with parents or guardians to provide feedback on their children\'s participation and progress.- Assist in organizing special events, parties, and themed play sessions.4. **Administrative Duties**:- Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports as required.- Assist in managing supplies and equipment needed for play activities.- Support marketing efforts by helping to promote programs and activities.5. **Team Collaboration**:- Work closely with other facilitators and staff members to ensure a positive and cohesive team environment.- Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.**Qualifications**:- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in early childhood education or recreation is a plus.- Experience working with children in a similar role, such as a camp counselor, teacher\xe2\x80\x99s aide, or childcare provider.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage children and build rapport with parents.- Creative and resourceful, with the ability to plan and execute a variety of activities.- Patient, compassionate, and able to manage multiple tasks and children simultaneously.- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.**What We Offer**:- A fun and dynamic work environment.- Opportunities for professional development and training.- Flexible working hours.Application InstructionsIf you are passionate about working with children and creating a positive play experience, we would love to hear from you!
