Oversee ACMV/HVAC air-conditioning systems and ensure daily thermal comfort is within acceptable limits.
Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities, reallocating resources when required.
Lead a team of technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient execution of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks.
Ensure all works comply with quality standards, health, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with contractors for installation, maintenance, and rectification works; check completed work for compliance and safety.
Monitor, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of systems and equipment within the facility.
Lead and participate in root cause analysis for equipment faults or abnormalities; provide updates, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct technical investigations, prepare reports, and propose solutions for breakdowns or faults.
Maintain complete documentation of maintenance procedures, reports, and records.
Provide project status updates to supervisors, managers, technicians, and relevant departments.
Carry out ad-hoc projects, assignments, or repair works as required.
Education and Experience:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Air-Conditioning, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management or ACMV/HVAC works.
Hands-on experience with FCU (Fan Coil Units) and AHU (Air Handling Units) preferred.
Knowledge of construction principles, building processes, and regulations.
Strong understanding of workplace safety, with good WSH practices and behaviours.
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well with both technical and non-technical teams.
