: As Facilities Manager, your overall responsibility is to ensure that all AEM sites in Singapore are well maintained and the facilities are kept in proper operating order. This entails, but is not limited to the following:

• Supervise and lead the Singapore-based Facilities Team.
• Track and manage the maintenance of all building equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and well-functioning environment.
• Manage all external contractors that are engaged for maintenance work, security, cleaning, etc., ensuring AEM standards are upheld and an optimum cost model is achieved between in-house and contracted services.
• Ability to understand requirements, translate into specifications, obtain necessary quotations, and supervise proper execution of work.
• Provide direction and oversite of all building-related activities, including relocation works, for Singapore sites.
• Plan, coordinate, and ensure optimum use of space and equipment while minimizing operating costs.
• Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, with a schedule of routine inspections.
• Responsible for identifying and addressing all safety, health, and environmental risks within all AEM sites in Singapore.
• Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.
• Prepare and implement health and safety procedures across the Company, and develop and deliver training relating to emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
• Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
• Plan and coordinate all installations, maintenance, and refurbishment of telecoms, electrical, HVAC, and other relevant infrastructure.
• Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.
• Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.
• Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
• Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security, etc. as required.
• Responsible for the site layout and allocation of space according to the business’ needs.
• Maintain all relevant records relating to the facilities and EHS.

• Degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, Facility management, or equivalent.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM, BizSAFE 4) will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as facilities and safety manager.
• Experienced in fast-paced manufacturing environment will be preferred.
• Well-versed in facilities and safety management best practices.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
• Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required).
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Good analytical/critical thinking.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and PR / PO processes.
