Facilities Engineer (Data Center)
Integrated Facilities Management - Work Dynamics (Singapore)
What this job involves:
Providing onsite support
You will be the upper facilities management's trusted right hand on all technical facilities-related activities. You'll do this by performing routine site inspections to ensure all building processes and best practices are implemented and maintained throughout the facility. You will also provide operations excellence support to the facility and manage general engineering administrative activities including vendor excellence programs, top down KPIs/SLAs, facility improvements, etc. On a day-to-day basis, you will monitor the performance of mission-critical equipment and to provide analysis of probable cause and rectifications. You will also provide support to the Facilities Manager in administration matters such as the development reports and EOPs/SOPs for the facility and to oversee the successful implement and trainings these procedures and its compliance on top of implementation of energy management programs.
You will assist the Facilities Manager and the client in both internal and external operational audits and accreditations.
Where can processes be improved? How can we save costs? These are questions that will be at the forefront of the team's thinking. You, too, will always have an eye on this, contributing suggestions as they arise.
Also part of your job scope is to hit key performance indicators and meet service level agreements to ensure operational excellence and zero operational downtime.
From time to time, you will also be required to support and drive non-technical related activities such as managing soft services and its vendors.
Meeting the clients' facilities needs

In this role, you'll be responsible for working closely with clients and suppliers onsite to identify facility-related enquiries and requirements for a seamless and uninterrupted operations needs 24/7. Your review and planning skills will also be vital to the job, as you'll take part in the preparation of the maintenance program including vendor management in the pursuit of operational excellence.
Having critical technical knowledge of the critical environment, you will support and provide sound technical solutions to the client to improve the operational readiness of the facility and to improve processes and procedure to achieve a better outcome in terms of system efficiency, productivity and eliminating potential equipment failures.

Do you value workplace safety? If so, you'll be a perfect fit for the job. In this role, you will ensure everyone's health and safety by keeping safe workplace procedures in place and order. You'll also be expected to carry out these procedures, as needed.
At the same time, this role puts you on the first line of defence against risks. As such, you will help implement and manage risk management programs, disaster recovery and business continuity plans. You'll also be expected to follow escalation and incident reporting procedures and comply with the firm's guidelines and strategies.

Competent with a Passion for service
Do you have at least a 3-year prior experience in Data Center or in a critical environment? Do you have a professional certification in an Engineering Field relevant to managing a critical environment? Are you knowledgeable in Building systems such as ACMV System and Electrical System including CRAH and UPSes, Electrical Generator Sets, Fire Protection systems, lighting systems, Security Card Access Systems, etc. And able to develop maintenance program suitable to ensure 100% operations. Do you have a keen interest in coordinating and managing vendors? In this role, you will face complex problems which requires your experience and analytical skillsets to provide sound technical solutions to the client.
