Job Description

What the role is:

To oversee and manage the implementation of sustainability initiatives in NYP to ensure alignment with the organisations\' sustainability targets, smooth implementation of projects and alignment of policies and regulatory requirements with consultants\' and contractors\' deliverables.

What you will be working on:

• Manage and implement initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality goals and adopt green technologies, aligning with GreenGov.SG 2030 and other sustainability targets.
• Review and assess feasibility of consultant proposals, identify energy conservation opportunities, and manage outsourced vendors to achieve desired green building certifications.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on sustainability initiatives, manage the annual sustainability report, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee departmental projects from planning and design to authorities\' approval, tendering, and successful completion, ensuring efficiency and adherence to schedules.
• Work with colleagues to minimise impact of the project works to NYP\'s normal operations

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years\' experience in building/environmental engineering or related field, with strong knowledge of building facilities and M&E systems, regulatory requirements and building system codes.
• Familiarity with sustainability principles, ESG/climate change, and relevant regulations/compliance.
• Proven track record of achieving Green Mark certification in a local project.
• Collaborative, with good interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
