:Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on system Senior\\ Engineer who will be responsible for the Gas and chemical systems, Deionized Water (DIW) system, including participating in the MOM Safety Case.Essesntial Duties:The Senior Engineer \\ Engineers shall provide system engineering, operation and maintenance of the following disciplines: Gas & Chemical & DIW systems. The primary duties & responsibilities are listed as follows:

  • Maintain the DIW, gas, chemical and life safety systems (LSS) with the help of TGCM team.
  • Conduct monthly meetings to review key KPIs with TGCM team.
  • Monitor & supervise vendors to ensure compliance of work in accordance with the PM plan.
  • Take charge of projects involving DIW, chemical and gas systems.
  • Responsible and oversee the general operations and maintenance of DIW, gas, chemical and LSS systems, including gas farm.
  • Conduct site inspections and attend site meetings to ensure high quality standard of work and timely delivery of DIW, gas and chemicals in accordance to schedule.
  • Attend daily tool meeting and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
  • Develop and review programs to achieve cost efficiency in running the systems.
  • Ensure optimal plant performance and reliability, and ensure compliance to HSE rules, local regulations, legal and other requirements.
  • Manage and execute facilities expansion and improvement projects.
  • Assess and evaluate feasibility studies pertaining to qualification of new gas or chemical source.
  • Ensure effective operation and maintenance without interruption of the installed facilities and equipment in the specialized fields and systems.
  • Perform system engineering study and solution that lead to optimal performance and reliability of the utilities supply systems.
  • Develop O&M operating procedures with risk assessment.
  • Lead and develop continuous improvement in operation/maintenance methodologies and system reliability program and projects that lead to cost efficient and optimal system performance.
  • Effective management and control of utilities and services for lowest operating cost at optimal system performance.
  • Ensure compliance to company safety, health and environmental rules and regulation with relevant trainings in safety, hazardous substance management, ERT and permit to work systems.
  • Develop and coordinate preventive, predictive maintenance of utilities systems.
  • Respond to all Facilities incidents, emergencies and alarms.
  • Conduct incident/accident investigation process including root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Conduct Facilities System audits and risk assessments.
  • Participate actively in key project such as cost reduction, system improvement, new facilities system development and qualification, new material evaluation/ qualification, etc.
  • Drive the facilities team in all continuous improvement projects related to cost, quality & service using SPS or similar applicable methodology.
  • Develop and maintain partnership with contractors and/or vendors for all aspects of utilities and building management.
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works. Plan, co-ordinate and execute rectification works.
  • Responsible for project execution, costing and control related to facilities system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the division.
  • Coaches, mentor and conduct training for targeted organizations on facilities systems.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by reporting Manager
  • Possess excellent hazards/risk assessment and mitigation methodologies and skill sets working on gas and chemical systems.
WORK LOCATION: REC Solar, 20 Tuas South Avenue 14 Singapore 637312(Company Transport available to/from selected locations island wide.)Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years relevant experience in Gas and Chemical Systems
  • Familiar with DIW system is a plus
  • Prefer Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Good supervisory and leadership skills
  • Required skill(s): Microsoft Office
  • Possess positive work attitude
  • Strong sense of responsibility, independence and accountability
  • Proactive & assertive team player
  • Able to work late for ad-hoc system troubleshooting and breakdowns
  • A good team player with pleasant personality
  • Good knowledge and experience working in a Semiconductor, Solar Plant or Manufacturing industry is preferred
  • PC literate / Knowledge of MS office is an advantage
