Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Management Technician, Data Centre to support the day-to-day operation & maintenance facilities services operations. This role requires working shifts to ensure continuous monitoring, maintenance, and incident response for our critical facilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide 24x7 onsite support for data centre operations and critical facilities. Perform constant BMS Monitoring for all Data Centre Facilities infrastructure to ensure Data Centre and other systems including PA system, fire safety, plumbing is in normal function (e.g. UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor, etc.). Provide Level 1 escalation point for all onsite operational incidents. Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and ad-hoc repairs of not limited to mechanical and electrical (M&E) equipment. Manage user requests, incidents, changes, problems, and provisioning through the web portal ticketing system. Ensure effective implementation of data centre safety, security, and customer support policies and procedures. Oversee security operations, including managing resources, enforcing house rules, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Plan and support all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with minimal disruption to data centre services. Update and maintain all DC related documentation (such as MOP, SOP and EOP), including reports generation where needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-year experience in facilities management or a similar role. ITE/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Management System and Facilities Management. Experience with Building Management System systems, Mechanical and Electrical equipment, and data centre environments. Hands-on experience in Mechanical (ACMV) and Electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. * Comfortable with rotating shift hours: Shift 1 (7am - 7pm), Shift 2 (7pm - 7am)
