As the Facilities Manager at Schroders, you will be part of the Facilities Management team to assist the Head of Facilities Management, APAC, in a number of diverse functions that help deliver a supportive, efficient, safe and secure environment for Schroders' staff and clients to operate in.
Current requirements include hard and soft services delivery and management; project management and space planning, internal client and vendor relationship management; environmental management and reporting; front of house and client experience, operational finance management. See Annex A for detailed job description. Many of the services are outsourced to specialist contractors who have full-time site-based teams working alongside Facilities.
Managing day-to-day operational relationship with respective service providers & suppliers for designated Facility Management services. This includes managing a team of Receptionists and Facilities Coordinators to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the office, high levels of customer service, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
First point of contact for all FM related matters i.e. contracts, services, maintenance, cleaning and other building related issues.
Contractual Vendor Management of outsourced Specialist contractors
Support Planning and Delivery of Office moves and changes
Support environmental & other corporate responsibility related initiatives i.e. ISO14001, guidance, reporting and audit.
Working with Head of Facilities Management to develop and implement, an efficient strategy for the use of Schroders space.
Assist the Head of Facilities Management as a local Point-of-Contact on compliance with internal and external regulations on buildings, office space, Health & Safety, and security.
Secondary point of contact for all Landlord and Tenant activity
Required knowledge, experience and qualifications
Preferably 5 years of experience in facilities management, project management, general administration or equivalent
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Reviews and balances own, colleagues', and contractors' workloads regularly; delegates and supervises very effectively and fairly
May be required to work outside of normal hours when required
