Job Description


  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians in the day-to-day operations for retail stores and corporate building.
  • Responsible for store design, renovation projects and maintenance of retail stores and company\xe2\x80\x99s properties.
  • Promptly attend to and rectify all facilities issues and emergencies with minimal disruption to store operations.
  • Plan and execute all aspects of renovation projects, from store design to renovation and completion, including coordinating and supervising external contractors and vendors throughout project renovation phase, and ensure projects are within approved budget and timelines.
  • Oversee retail store and office assets management, including handling of master inventory list, coordinating and carrying out asset transfers.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance of building and equipment at corporate office and retail stores are in place and carried out on time.
  • Regular building inspection and analysis of technical reports as needed, for recommendations for repair, upgrade and improvement to all facilities and equipment.
  • Monitor and ensure that security measures for corporate office and retail stores are in place.
  • Manage all the M&E certification required by authorities such as fire certification etc.
  • Maintain good relationship with vendors, suppliers, and contractors while ensuring they provide quality services and products at best value.
  • Handle special projects and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • At least a Diploma/Bachelor\'s Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction, Facility Management and Building Technology or related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in facilities and project management preferably in retail environment.
  • Able to commit to 5.5 days\xe2\x80\x99 work week and available to work standby duties when required.
  • Must have with hands on experience in electrical and building maintenance works and technically competent to evaluate, analyse, and troubleshoot building defects.
  • Strong knowledge in building M&E maintenance and renovation, ACMV, FSSD code, local code of practices and regulations.
  • Possesses FSM certificate and proficient in Microsoft Office/ AutoCAD/ construction and technical drawings with knowledge of building systems.
  • Must be a well-organised and detailed self-starter with excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders from all levels.
