The client is the world leading semiconductor fabrication provider with presence in Singapore for over 20 years. Below position is open urgently.
About the Role:
We are seeking a
Senior/Principal Engineer
to join our diverse Facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for providingmechanical facilities support
to wafer fabrication operations, ensuring the continuous and reliable supply ofcleanroom, chiller, HVAC, environmental protection, process utilities, and building services systems
at the required performance and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the
operation, preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
of:+ Clean Room (Class 100 environment) systems
+ HVAC and large-scale industrial chillers (up to 1500 RT) with associated systems
+ Environmental Protection systems (wet, dry, thermal scrubbers, VOC abatement)
+ Process Utilities systems (water, vacuum, etc.)
+ Building Services and Maintenance (air-conditioning, repairs, upgrading, housekeeping, landscaping, pest control)
Conduct
root cause analysis
and implement corrective actions to prevent issue recurrence. Formulate, review, and improveoperating procedures, reporting systems, and maintenance programs
to ensure optimum system performance. Monitorsystem performance, capacity usage, and utility consumption
; recommend and implement improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce energy usage.Requirements:
Master's / Degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline
. At least8 years of relevant experience
in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industry, withhands-on expertise in facilities operations and maintenance
.Familiar with mechanical systems like: HVAC, Chiller, Process exhaust, hot/ local scrubber, AMC/ PCW
Strong knowledge ofmaintenance principles, engineering best practices, and compliance requirements
. Ability tolead teams, supervise contractors, and manage projects
. Excellentproblem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
