The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising multiple teams of cleaners in multiple cleaning projects, while ensuring service quality delivery and safety. This includes assisting in planning of cleaning service operations work plans, incident management and managing inventory of the cleaning equipment and materials used in multiple project sites. He/She is also required to provide guidance to the cleaners. He/She may be assigned to a variety of places which may include indoor and outdoor public places. He/She is expected to communicate with stakeholders as part of his role in performing duties. • Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
• Scheduling staff shifts and organising replacements as required.
• Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
• Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
• Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
• Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
• Screening housekeeping applicants and recommending promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
• Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.

Person Specifications

• Minimum GCE \xe2\x80\x9cO\xe2\x80\x9d Level.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience or 5 years of environmental cleaning experience.
• Computer literacy, google docs, email and other college systems.
• Hands-on and adopt a flexible approach.
• Good communicator and customer orientated.
• Planning and Organising skills.
• Proactive and resourceful.
