The School expects all teaching staff, non-teaching staff and volunteers to share and uphold this commitment.NLCS (Singapore) is looking for an enthusiastic, highly dependable and committed Facilities Technician, with an outstanding track record. The primary function of the Facilities team is to provide logistical and facilities maintenance support.Main Responsibilities: Undertake and record basic maintenance work in accordance with the planned preventive maintenance schedule with safety as a priority. Undertake facilities inspections of the school including eg. classrooms, staff offices, pools, gymnasium, sports and playgrounds, and landscaped areas. Assist the Facilities Manager in working with various contractors on the day-to-day maintenance. Support the Facilities Manager with Fire and Emergency activities including drills, working closely with the Operations team. Conduct basic quality and testing checks. To ensure all works carried out safely and in accordance with safety procedures Assist with the logistic requirements of school events including porterage services. To maintain an accurate stock control for all current and new maintenance equipment and materials Act in accordance with relevant legislation in Singapore, as well as UK guidelines, particularly with regards to health and safety initiatives.Safeguarding: Abide by the school safeguarding policy and keep abreast of any changesQualifications/Skills Minimum Higher NITEC in Building Servicing / Mechanical or Electrical engineering At least 3 years of working experience in facilities management and/or related field Familiarity with Building Management System and Fire Protection System preferred May be required and willing to work some weekends based on operational needs Candidates who are able to start work on short notice are preferredTo apply for our professional support staff positions, please email the following documents to [ Link removed ] before the application closing deadline.
