Facilities Technician
Can you perform minor electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or civil maintenance? Can you manage to upkeep equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards?
Are you a someone who can ensure that facilities are well maintained and conducting proactive maintenance?
Your natural ability to fix things is an asset here at Quantrics! As the Facilities Technician, you will handle building and equipment maintenance based on a schedule or need, aid in testing building security systems, and manage general facility maintenance activities. You will also be responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. electrical, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, etc.) as well as other tasks, as assigned.
You will have an opportunity to…

• Conduct routine inspection and miscellaneous assessments of facility equipment and leasehold component regarding preventive maintenance, malfunctions, and needed repairs
• Monitor activities of contractors, vendors and building administration crew with regards to facility work-related concerns
• Ensure proper work execution in compliance with the safety and health requirement and procedure
• Execute work orders on time and quality
• Identify, monitor and address snag/punch list pertaining to equipment/leasehold maintenance, facility/build projects, and other external building features/utilities
• Perform necessary minor repair/maintenance pertaining to mechanical aircon, electrical power & lighting, plumbing lines & fixtures, carpentry & painting, and other related trades such as fire alarm & detection system, fire protection system, water leak detection system and structured cabling
• Process ingress and egress of contractors/vendors, visitors, fixed assets and office supplies related to facilities

Other responsibilities..

• Contribute project objectives/initiatives by reviewing project proposals and process improvements conferring with the Facilities Manager
• Coordinate with the Corporate Security Department and Building Administration Office regarding building security and site emergency response
• Recommend quality replacement parts (i.e., specification standard and brand) to order
• Provide incident report affecting the business operations & security or building & facility properties
• Help company events by installing available equipment, tools and décor
• Ad hoc tasks, as required

• College graduate or above required
• Basic understanding of electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry

• Candidate must possess at least a High school Degree

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
• Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills are essential
• Ability to work in a 24/7 rotating shift environment
• Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Good Color vision, Hearing and Ability to push a minimum of 100 pounds (power cleaning appliances); ability to lift minimum 50 pounds (trash and supplies)
• Ability to climb ladders and step ladders

• Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking, etc., as required by the task
