JR28947 Facilities UPW Technologist As a Facility Technologist/Technical Specialist at Micron, you will independently perform routine and non-routine complex tasks associated with operating and maintaining industrial equipment such as: pumps, chemical pumps, piping, valves, , Ultra Pure Water and industrial waste water treatment equipment. To assist engineers in the execution of equipment preventive/corrective maintenance and to ensure jobs are carry out on schedule.

• To assist engineers in the execution of Ultrapure/Waste Water plant expansion and cost savings projects
• Frontline troubleshooting and immediate response to equipment issue to ensure 100% uptime to production
• Propose and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
• Ensure good housekeeping of Ultrapure and Waste Water plant
• Monitor and maintain spare parts at recommended level.
• Accurately complete documentation (e.g., Work Orders, pass downs, etc.)
• Assume additional duties and projects to improve the team performance as directed by the supervisor

• The UPW/WW Maintenance Technologist is responsible for facilities equipment and support systems.
• Responsibilities :
  • To assist engineers in the execution of equipment preventive/corrective maintenance and to ensure jobs are carry out on schedule.
  • To assist engineers in the execution of Ultrapure/Waste Water plant expansion and cost savings projects
  • Frontline troubleshooting and immediate reponse to equipment issue to ensure 100% uptime to production
  • Performs enhancement and reliability projects.
  • Ensure good housekeeping of Ultrapure and Waste Water plant
  • Monitor and maintain spare parts at recommended level.
  • Accurately complete documentation.(e.g., Work Orders, pass downs, etc.)
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by immediate superior.
• Requirements :
  • NiTEC, Higher NiTEC or Industrial Technician Certificate in Mechanical/Chemical engineering or equivalent related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
• . Equivalent knowledge of Ultra Pure Water Treatment Plant, Waste Water Treatment Plant and Fluoride Treatment Plant
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work in teams.
  • Able to speak English and write simple report.
  • Computer skill in word processing, spreadsheet and email.
  • Must be able to read and interpret schematics.
  • 3 years of facilities maintenance experiences. Preferrablely in semiconductor industry.
