The Facilities & IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, operations, maintenance, and safety of Knightsbridge House International School's facilities and technology infrastructure across all campuses. This role ensures the school operates in full compliance with
MOE/ECDA/ECC standards and licensing requirements
, and that all IT systems support a secure, innovative and digitally-enabled learning environment.
The role requires strong facilities management experience, IT infrastructure management skills, and a proven track record in supporting school operations in Singapore.
Manage day-to-day building and grounds operations across campuses
Lead campus safety, maintenance and housekeeping functions
Oversee vendor contracts, building services, and renewal cycles (security, cleaning, M&E services, etc.)
Ensure compliance with
ECDA Class C licensing, fire safety, BCA, SCDF and ECC regulatory requirements
Conduct regular facility inspections and incident reporting
Oversee space planning, classroom set-up, and student-friendly environment optimisation
Implement preventive maintenance schedules and asset lifecycle plans
Lead school renovations, construction, and expansion projects
Manage furniture, fittings, playground equipment, and school assets
2. Health, Safety & Compliance
Maintain school safety protocols aligned to
ECDA, CPE, MOE, MOM and SCDF guidelines
Lead emergency preparedness & business continuity plans (EHS / fire drills)
Manage security systems: CCTV, access control, visitor management, biometrics
Champion a safe and hygienic learning environment for children and staff
3. IT & Digital Infrastructure Management
Oversee school IT systems, hardware, and networks across all campuses
Manage student information systems, learning platforms, and cloud solutions
Oversee cybersecurity protocols, data protection, backup, and recovery procedures
Maintain Wi-Fi, AV equipment, and digital classroom technology
Liaise with external IT vendors, ensuring SLAs are met and upgrades executed
Support staff and student IT onboarding / troubleshooting
4. Procurement & Budgeting
Manage procurement for facilities and IT assets
Maintain inventories and asset tagging systems
Track capital expenditure (CapEx) and operating budgets
Negotiate contracts and vendor performance standards
5. Stakeholder & Team Leadership
Lead and train facilities & IT support teams
Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, ECDA licensing team, and contractors
Provide timely reporting on facilities and IT KPIs
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
ECC / ECDA-aligned qualification or regulatory compliance knowledge required
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in facilities & IT management, preferably in education / early childhood environments
Strong understanding of Singapore regulatory frameworks:
ECDA licensing standards
Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)
SCDF Fire Safety regulations
Data Protection (PDPA)
Experience managing multi-site operations preferred
Strong vendor and project management experience
Hands-on IT infrastructure and troubleshooting capability
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced school environment
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
5-day work week; occasional weekends for school events
Flexibility to travel between campuses
On-call support for critical facilities & IT events
Candidates who are able to commence work immediately will be given priority.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $5,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
