Responsible for the maintenance and operational readiness of manufacturing or repair facilities and mechanical equipment.
Plan, schedule, and execute tasks related to facility upgrades, machinery improvements, and equipment repairs.
Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs, installation of new components, and major overhaul services. Evaluate quotations and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Conduct basic maintenance training for end users on machinery and equipment.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, malfunctions, and emergencies to minimize disruption to manufacturing operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues efficiently and effectively.
Implement and perform preventive maintenance activities for production equipment, including oil changes, belt replacements, electrical inspections, and filter cleaning. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work.
Identify and procure critical spare parts needed for preventive maintenance.
Monitor equipment condition to detect early signs of potential failure, and arrange timely repair or replacement to reduce downtime.
Supervise contractors and vendors performing maintenance-related work, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and standards.
Manage third-party service providers, including housekeeping and security vendors, ensuring service standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols are met. Review logs, schedules, and vendor performance regularly.
Maintain a clean, organized maintenance work area and ensure proper storage of tools and materials.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair work within a manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of facilities management, including fire safety systems, wastewater systems (Chemical Line), cranes, and electrical troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience and working knowledge of CNC machines and related equipment.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good awareness of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, with a strong safety mindset.
Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrates integrity and upholds the highest standards of ethical behaviour.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal staff and external vendors.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Willing and able to work on a rotating standby schedule (24/7 coverage) and beyond normal office hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
