Main Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day maintenance services of Facility equipment in the process plant and buildings.
• Develop and implement routine maintenance and inspection schedule for Process plant & building facilities and execute maintenance by co-ordinate with contractors at the site.
• Manage general and plant facilities maintenance work like firefighting equipment, and general maintenance of office and warehouse building (ACMV, Fire Alarm, PA & CCTV).
• Ensure Plant facilities are maintaining accordance with local regulations and requirements such as SCDF, BCA, NEA, MOM, EMA, etc.
• Lead in the investigation/trouble-shoot Facility equipment fault or failure and provide effective and viable corrective and preventive action and improve the reliability of plant facility equipment and buildings.
• Prepare long-term maintenance plan for plant & buildings Facility Equip etc. Improving the Facility's long-term maintenance plan for equipment.
• Follow-up on maintenance spares receiving, issuing status, and update.
• Assist in purchase requests for maintenance work and spare parts. (Ensure Safety Stock).
• Manage annual shutdown maintenance and improvement projects related to buildings and plant facility equipment (Work planning, Management of actual site work, Liaising with contractors and production group).
• Manage in-house contractors & external contractors to execute maintenance timely and effectively, Instruct COMPANY policies and rules so all maintenance activities comply with COMPANY EHSQ policies.
• Prepare documentation pertaining to procedures, qualities, and safe maintenance works.
• Support in implementation and participation in the continuous improvement effort in the areas of Safety, Quality, Environment, and Health Management Systems (for example SS506 part 3, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, IATF 16949).
• To have a legal obligation to act in a responsible manner for the safety of themselves and other persons who may be affected by their actions or omissions at work.
• Assist the Management in ensuring that Major Accident Hazards are reduced to As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and escalate when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).

Requirements

• Diploma /Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering or the equivalent.
• Min 5 years of experience as an E&I/ Facility Supervisor or Engineer in a chemical plant with facility-related works.
• Basic understanding of maintenance technology, BMS, Electrical & Facility equipment, and manufacturing process plant environment.
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with building management systems, Electrical, Fire detection, and protection systems.
• Demonstrate ability to manage contractors/vendor independently and effectively.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Certification in the Fire safety manager course is added advantage.
