Job Description

• Focus: Able to operate mosquito rearing and release equipment, carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of general equipment and tools.

• Working hours: 5-days/week, including regular weekend work and public holidays

• Adecco is partnering with an international Life Science company to search for a Factory/Field Technician

The Opportunity

• Focus: Able to operate mosquito rearing and release equipment, carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of general equipment and tools and Class 3 license

• Working hours: 5-days/week, including regular weekend work and public holidays

The Talent

• Hands-on experience or equivalent practical experience
• Poly and NITEC Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Applications from candidates with experience in catering and service work are encouraged.
• Experience in automation, operations, production, or related field is optional but preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
• Strong communications skills.
• Ability to drive a vehicle (Class 3 license) (Good to have, not a must)

The Job
Factory/Field Technician (Full Time/Part Time)

• Trapping and surveillance and post trapping species identification
• Arrange for vehicle logistics including maintenance, servicing, and regular checks of release and transport van
• Follow a schedule of field release of reared mosquitoes at release sites.
• Conduct community engagement with residents around mosquito field trials, following the guidelines of SOP.
• On days of release, reporting time starts at 6.30am (Grab is claimable only for the rides to the work location)
