The Sputter Failure Analysis team plays a critical role in analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends, uncover root causes of low yield and failure mechanisms, and drive continuous improvements in yield and defect reduction.

About the role - you will:

Responsible daily product yield and defect trends; investigate root causes of yield variations Perform physical failure analysis to identify sources of defects Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance) to resolve yield/defect issues Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product yield and quality Support process engineering evaluations Evaluate effectiveness of yield improvement actions Analyze media test data to identify yield issues Conduct statistical analysis and present findings using data visualization tools

About you:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail

Your experience includes:

Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., JMP, Tableau); training will be provided Understanding of statistical analysis outputs and terminology Basic knowledge of Python or MySQL is a plus

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations.
